Advanced Heat Pump Applications
Learn about strategies and applications details for advanced building heat pump technologies (heating, cooling, water heating). Learn how new technologies are affecting the way sizing and design choices are made for different building types (residential, commercial, industrial).
Industrial Electrification Training
Behind the Transportation Numbers: What to know about the vehicle economics and usage patterns driving transportation electrification and load planning
EVs are being adopted at different rates depending on the vehicle segment and use-case, so despite some flagging policy support the economics will continue to drive electrification. This half-day transportation electrification workshop will feature real life data that are shaping consumer and fleet adoption and the behaviors and trends behind charging. Critical utility planning topics will cover EPRI’s library of TCO by vehicle segment, EPRI’s library of load shapes by vehicle segment, nameplate vs. diversity factors in grid planning, and power‑level trends.
State-of-the-Art Alternative Fuel Production and Storage
Lunch
Leading Practices for Income‑qualified Programs
Promoting electrification and affordability for all income levels requires specialized approaches. This dynamic workshop will dive into program maturity and leading practices, enabling participants to self-assess and develop plans and strategies for program design, outreach, and implementation. Community Data Partners will join EPRI researchers in presenting a maturity model and sharing lessons learned from pilots and case studies as well as successful programs.
Planning for Transportation Electrification: How leading fleets, charging providers, and utilities are making the most of the next few years to plan for this inevitable load
